F E E L: Rust & Bone

Rust & Bone is an emotionally poignant romance starring one of my favorite actresses, Marion Cotillard- I highly recommend this film, one of my favorites of 2012. I recently downloaded the soundtrack and am feeling it big time, reliving old favorites, and inspired by the new, including the beautifully composed instrumentals, that take me back to this stunningly curated film of life and love. Check it out xx

V M: meditate to heal your body xx
Our thoughts, feelings create molecules. The stress thoughts, anger, fears and so on that we experience all day turn into biochemicals that produce toxic chemistry all through the body. When you practice VM (Vedic Meditation) your mind settles down to it’s least excited state, touching bliss- the underlying quiet place that is deep within us. The chemistry of bliss, of happiness, and the chemistry of healing are identical. Just another reason why I highly recommend VM. My friends Alejandro and Thom explain just this in the video above xx
H U R R Y: to chelsea xx

There are only two days left (March 22 & 23) to see the most enchanting multimedia art exhibition I’ve experienced this year- Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson’s The Visitors, showing at Luhring Augustine. This nine-channel video installation involving durational musical performance was staged upstate New York at Rokeby Farm. It depicts individual creative minds at work and a baring of extreme collective emotion. The first time I saw it I was taken aback, having had a rough week I felt beads of tears collect in my eyes and an overwhelming sense of comfort. The second time this week, I was reminded of how these simple beautiful images accompanied by soft sweet music affected me so positively. Maybe it’ll touch you too! Enjoy xx
