S E N D: letters, packages, mail xx

There are a few close friends (old souls like me, perhaps) who I still exchange mail with, my day always brighter still when I see a letter, postcard or package arrive in the mail box. If I can’t have my loves face to face then I’d rather a message arrives days later then the instant, impersonal avenues popular these days.  Hand-writing, complete sentences, visuals, stamps, packaging- all the personal, tangible details warm my heart.  Receiving sounds great, but giving, sending can be just as satisfying- especially when it’s going out to someone who is not expecting it xx
