L O V E: guenevere rodriguez xx

Before I even moved to New York, I stumbled upon Guenevere Rodriguez’ stand on Prince Street- at the market set up on the weekends along the brick church walls between the block of Mulberry and Mott.  The first thing that caught my eye was a thin gold chain looped into a ring that slide so easily down my finger- the first one I tried on.  There was something about it- unique, delicate, fine and the fact that I could not let it go.  GR went on to explain it’s significance and it happened to fit with exactly what I had been contemplating at that time.  There was no coincidence, all the jewelry that GR hand makes is with an intention- from the bends in the metal to the precious stones chosen, there is a purpose for each piece.  Over the years, I’ve accumulated all my favorites and each time she has a show- I find something new, always very special, to add to my collection.  I highly suggest that those in the NY area this weekend or next check out her show!!!  Treat yourself to the jewels of my dear friend, www.guenevererodriguez.com, show yourself a little love xx
